– Aria King
Aria King (アリーア・キﾝグ Ariia Kingu) is the daughter of Melanie King, the step-daughter of Tyler King, and the girlfriend of Professional Duelist Blake Reynolds. Like her boyfriend, Aria is Professional duelist with her deck focusing on the "Horus" archetype.
Aria is a tall, slim and slender beautiful young woman with dark brown hair and amber eyes. Aria usually wears a dark red blazer, with sleeves going up to the middle of her forearms over a white dress shirt, white skirt and short tan, high heel boots. Her deck case is attached to a belt that is hidden by her blazer.
Aria is calm, kind, caring and mature, though she does now when to have fun. She sees family very important and will do anything for them. She is very affectionate to her boyfriend and sees Kylie as a little sister, who she is very protective of along with Blake. She does get annoyed when people believe she can't do some things just because she's a girl, she's willing to prove to the world that gender means nothing when it comes to the work force.
When she was first dating Blake - unlike most girls who'd get annoyed if their boyfriend was talking about another girl - he would always speak about a "Kylie" which got her confused and curious. She later found out from Blake's best friend Scott Lucas that Kylie was his little sister. She found it fascinating that Blake would talk so much about his sister but she could see the bond the two have.
After the sudden passing of Devon and Alice Reynolds, Aria did whatever she could to help. She does worry about Blake, especially after he sent to the hospital for passing out due to stress and trying to do everything himself.
After what happened with Blake and Kylie and their father, Aria becomes very protective of Kylie, as she sees Kylie as a little sister. Aria gifted Kylie a bracelet which actually acted as a tracker, but only to an extent. She doesn't watch it all the time only.
- Dueling proficiency: As a professional duelist, Aria is very skilled in dueling, able to work with pretty much anything on her hand.
- Multilingual: Aria is able to speak and write fluently in French. She tends to curse out in French.
- Protective of Kylie: Like Blake, Aria is very protective over Kylie, especially after what happened with hers and Blake's father. Aria will easily step in to protect Kylie and Blake if she has to.
Aria was originally born in Pairs, France, to Melanie Dubois, she never learned her father. When she was around five months old, Melanie moved to Houston Texas where she could later meet Tyler King, the son of Lucas and Zaylin King, the owners of King's Diner.
Since then, Aria was always around Diego. Aria even said her first word, "Da-Da", to Diego which proved to Farrah that Diego was the right man for her. Three years later of dating, Diego popped the question and he and Farrah were married, Diego even named Aria his best lady.
Growing up, Aria was taught to work for what she wanted, Diego did spoil at times, but not a lot. She was never just given something. Melanie ended up passing away when Aria was ten in a car crash. While the loss of her mother hurt her, Aria knew that Tyler and his parents were always there for him, her bond with Tyler, growing even more.
She and Blake originally met in middle school–both being in the same school and had almost every single same class. Neither though much about the only until their best friends Madeline "Maddie" Matthews and Scott Lucas forced them to sit together at lunch. From there, their friendship began. Their romance didn't start until high school, specifically the the summer before sophomore year (due to Blake chickening out every time he came near Aria).
After they dated for a few months, Aria took him to meet her mother, who was in the hospital for cancer. Unknown to Aria and Tyler, Melanie had given Blake her blessing should he want to marry Aria (Blake wasn't even sure yet).
A month after Blake turned eighteen, Aria went with him to Austin where he was going to be in a dueling tournament. While waiting for his parents and sister, she saw him running out of the arena, and racing to his car only to see him shaking. She quickly learned that Devon, Alice and Kylie were all in a car accident and were at a hospital near Austin. Aria rushed the two of them there only to learn that Devon died already, Kylie was being rushed into surgery and Alice was on her death bed.
Aria watched as Blake broke down to his mother and hold his mother's hand for the last time. She made a vow to herself to help Blake all the way and ended up calling her parents to ask them for help - knowing Blake wouldn't. Following Kylie awakening from a three-week coma, Blake and Kylie moved into her house with her father. Blake would deal with his new status as Kylie's guardian while her father took care of the Reynolds' house.
After seeing Blake get sent to the hospital more than once after falling sick due to stressing out, Aria finally got him to ask her father (and grandparents) for help–to which he did.
Aria didn't know about Kylie having depression until she learned of Blake transferring from their university in Dallas to one in Houston. Wanting to be there for both her boyfriend and his sister, she followed him and transferred to a university in Houston. She eventually graduated from college and moved back home, but still visits Blake and Kylie, who had bought an apartment complex in the city, just about ten minutes away from Jesse and his parents.
Aria is with Blake as he is in Canada competing in a Pro League and went with him to support. She knew Kylie would be OK as her mother offered to check up on her. Like Blake, she doesn't know about Kylie going after Jaden until she returns home with him in tow.
- Unnamed father
- Tyler King (step-father)
- Melanie King (mother)
- Lucas King (step-grandfather)
- Zaylin King (step-grandmother)
- Blake Reynolds (boyfriend)
Before her mother's passing, Aria had a close bond with her mother. However, her bond with her step-father and his parents, are even greater, most likely due to Tyler being in Aria's life since she was a few months old. She is also close with her step-grandparents due to them always being around her, even after Melanie's passing. Aria was raised to work for what she wants. She was never given something on a silver plate, she had to earn it herself. Melanie made sure to input that into her daughter's minds.
Blake, her boyfriend for about five years, is the love of her life. She knows deep down he's afraid she'll leave him, but she would never. When they first dated, she was a little confused on why he kept going on about a "Kylie" but then learned that Kylie was his younger sister. His younger sister that he loved dearly and very much.
Aria duels with the "Horus" archetype. Her main cards are "Dark Horus" and "Horus Phoenix".
- Aria was originally made just for Caught Between Two Worlds but ShadowSpirit020 loved her more than Bella Christian, and so the changes were made.
