Cameron is a former student of Beacon, graduating as a member of Team CYAN. He is now a teacher at Beacon and continues to watch over his niece.

Parents
The relationship between Cameron and his parents is unknown. Cameron eventually became head of the family after either his mother or father's passing.
Alyson Zlatko
Alyson is Cameron's twin sister and they are very estranged with one another. He never hated her, but does have a strong dislike for her. Alyson was more for making a name for herself than working with a team. While they both share the same views of helping people - human and Fanus alike - they do have their differences. During their Initiation, they were almost partnered up but at the last minute changed due to their annoyance for each other.
Cleo Zlatko
Cleo, in other words, is Cameron's "Light in his Apple". He loves his niece dearly and adopted her after Alyson abandoned her after birth. He is very protective of her but knows she can take care of herself. They have a very strong father-daughter bond, since Cameron pretty is Cleo's father - since she never knew her real one.
Friends
Nathaniel Northwood
Nathan is a former teammate of Cameron but still a good friend. Nathan, along with Yvonne, were usually the ones to pull the Zlatko siblings apart when they started bickering.
Qrow Branwen
Qrow of Team STRQ is an old friend and ally of Cameron. They get along rather well . They do have some things in common: both their sisters went off, and both care for their niece(s), though in Qrow's case, he has two, and in Cameron's case he pretty much raised Cleo.
Yvonne Princeton
Yvonne is Cameron's partner and one of the two people that could get him and Alyson to stop bickering. While attending Beacon Academy, Yvonne was usually the one to pull him and Alyson apart when they argued. She was used to doing it, having been raised with four older brothers and them always fighting.
Cameron saw Yvonne like another sister - at least one that didn't get on his nerves. She also helped with raising Cleo becoming the aunt figure.
